Jr Miners Skate to 8W - 1L record in Month of November
2014-12-01The Jr Miners have skated to 8 wins and only 1 loss in the month of November by wining the last 6 in a row.
The Miners now sit first place in the league with 30 points, 1 point better than Liverpool in the other division, but a full 9 points ahead of the Scotians who sit in 2nd in the Sid Rowe Division.
The Boys started the month with an 8-1 road win over the Brookfield Elks, then followed it up with an 8-3 win over Antigonish Bulldogs. The only bump in the armour this past month was at the hands of the Pictou Scotians were we dropped a 4-2 descision at home.

The boys finished off the month with a pair of games on the final weekend. On the road, they would defeat their Island rival Strait Pirates by a score of 5-3 and then in a penalty filled affair they cruised to a 7-4 defeat of the Brookfield Elks once again.
The Miners will take to the road to face the Antigonish Bulldogs on Friday 5 Dec before they agin play the Strait Pirates at the Emera Center in North Sydney on Saturday 6 Dec at 7:30.
