Miner sweep Bulldogs Weekend
2014-12-20The Jr Miners sweep the Bulldogs home and home games this weekend to go into the Christmas break on a winning note.
In Antigonish, Nick Walsh stopped all 18 shots fired at him by the Antigonish Jr B Bulldogs in leading the Glace Bay Miners to a 3 – 0 shutout over the Bulldogs at the Antigonish Arena.
Scoring in the win for Glace Bay were Zach Walsh, Andrew MacPhee and Ryan Bursey all with one goal apiece.
Tanner Doiron stopped 23 of 26 shots in net for the Bulldogs in taking the loss.

Scott MacDonald back-stopped the Jr. Miners for the win, stopping 10 of the 12 shots fired by the Bulldogs.
Replying with the only two goals for the Bulldogs, was Shawn Long.
