Miners tame the Dogs

Miners win 7th strait game with a 6-1 lashing of the Bulldogs

Captain John-Michael Walsh quarterbacked the offense with three assists while six different players scored for Glace Bay.

The Miners solidified their division lead as they improved their record to 24-6 and hold a formidable lead in the Sid Rowe Division of the Nova Scotia Junioir Hockey League.

Sam Johnson, Kenzie Dowie, Andrew MacPhee, Ryan Bursey, Brendan MacLean and Dylan Bork all scored for the Miners.

Emerson Coulter had the lone goal for the Bulldogs.
Nick Walsh stopped 25 of 26 shots at the Glace Bay net, while Antigonish goalie Tanner Doiron faced 59 Miners’ shots.

Glace Bay ‘s next match is Saturday, Jan. 24 when they host cross-island rival Strait Pirates at the BayPlex.
