Kameron Jr. Miners off and running to start 2019 campaign

The Kameron Junior Miners are off and running to start the 2019-2020 hockey season. The Jr. Miners are  coming off their latest road trip with victories in Liverpool as well as East Hants. 

On Saturday, the Kameron Jr. Miners posted a 5-4 overtime victory over the Liverpool Privateers in Liverpool.Blake Cox scored the overtime winner for the Miners, while Josh MacKay netted a pair of goals. Michael Penny and Ryan Chisholm chipped in with single markers. Kaine Drake made 23 saves for the Miners while Keaghan Larade stopped 39 of 43 shots for Liverpool.

Sunday the Jr. Miners traveled into East Hants and came away with a 9-3 victory on the back of 4th year veteran Daniel Reid who scored 4 goals and added three helpers. Also scoring for the Miners were Dylan Morley and Mitchell Johnston with two goals apiece. Ryan Chisholm also chipped in with one.Kaine Drake was solid in goal once again making 32 saves.
