Jr. Miners open NSJHL Semi Finals Wednesday

The Kameron Jr. Miners and Strait Pirates will renew old rivalries when the 2020 Sid Rowe Divsion Semi Finals opens Wednesday in Membertou.

" The type of series is why we all play the game" said Jr. Miners Head Coach Ryan Boutilier. "The Jr. Miners and Pirates have a rich history and there is no doubt the story will be added to during this playoff series." 

The Jr. Miners won the season series 3-1. The Pirates opened the four games regualr season set in Membertou winning 4-3 back in September, before the Jr. Miners won the next three by scores of 6-5, 6-4 and 3-1.

" The regular season is now over and everyone has a clean slate" said Boutilier  " We know this series is going to be a battle for both clubs and we will be ready when the puck drops Wednesday night"
