Miners tame the Dogs
2010-11-06In NSJHL action last night, the Glace Bay Miners tamed the Antigonish Bulldogs by a score of 3-2
In Antigonish the Glace Bay Junior Miners were led by Liam MacDonnell with a pair while Adam Cadegan added a single to give the Miners a 3-2 win over the Bulldogs. Logan Gillis and Scott Chiasson replied for Antigonish.
The teams were tied at one after one; again tied at two after two with MacDonnell firing the winner, his second of the night, with less than two minutes to play in the third period. Daniel brown added a pair of assists for Glace Bay while Ricky Chisholm added a pair of assists for the Bulldogs who out shot the Miners 33-27.
