Miners to honor #12 Johnny Carabin

Please join us on Saturday, November 13th when we honor the memory of #12 Johnny Carabin, seen here on the far left, during a pre-game ceremony at the Bayplex vs the Strait Pirates at 7:45 pm.
On Wednesday, August 18 2010, the Glace Bay Jr. Miners players and staff lost one of thier own when 22 year old Johnny Carabin passed away as a result of a tragic motorcycle accident in Sydport.
Never to be seen without a smile or kind words, Johnny was a friend and touched the lives of everyone he met. Always time to talk and help out, especially with the children, he was truly the greatest friend a person could have and is saddly missed.
During a pre-game ceremony at the Bayplex this Saturday vs the Strait Pirates (another of his previous teams) we will honor Johnny.
#12 in your program but #1 in your heart, Johnny will never be forgotten by those whom he touched.
We hope that this Saturday, you will come out and show your support to his former teammates and family, as the great #12 will be worn no more for either of these two clubs in memory of our friend Johnny.
