In Glace Bay the Miners needed overtime to defeat the Pictou County Scotians 5-4 . Eugene Fraser gave the Miners an early 1-0 first period lead from Jon McDonough and Adam Cadegan. The Miners held a slim 11-10 shot advantage after one.

Two minutes later the Scotians were within one when Hutchinson converted with Cole Anderson and Mosher. Then with three minutes to play Gordon scored his second of the period a short-handed unassisted goal to send the game into overtime. Shots favored Pictou in the period 19-15 but it was Melvin Day who was called upon to keep Glace Bay off the board.

In the overtime Brett McCarron scored just fifty-seven seconds in, a power play goal, from Jordan Langlois and captain Mitch Carabin.

Final shots were 47-43 Pictou.

For Glace Bay that completes the schedule until after Christmas when the league resumes on January 7th.
