January 21, 2011. In what was scheduled to be the busiest night in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League with five games on tap frizzled down to only one game because of mother nature. The games scheduled between the Bay Ducks and Cumberland County Blues; Sackville Blazers and East Hants Penguins; Pictou County Scotians in Port Hawkesbury and Brookfield Elks in Windsor were all cancelled because of the weather .
In Antigonish the visiting Glace Bay Junior Miners edged the Bulldogs 4-3. Jordan Langlois, Eugene Fraser, Brett McCarron and Mitch Carabin did the scoring for the Miners who trailed 2-1 after one; led 4-2 after two with Antigonish getting to within one in the third. Marcus VanOirschot, Mike MacGillivray and Tim MacDougall tallied for the Bulldogs.
