Miners need to DIG DEEP.

With only 5 games remaining in the regular season, the Glace Bay Jr Miners will need to dig deep to get themselves OUT of the hole they are in...and there is no better time than this weekend against the Bulldogs at home in the Bayplex.
With only 2 weeks (5 games) remaining in the playoffs, the Glace Bay Miners are in the fight of thier lives for the final playoff spot in the Sid Rowe Division. Holding a 1 point advantage over the Pictou Scotians (who also have 5 games remaining), the Miners fight to the finals begins this Saurday 7:45 at the Bayplex.
The Miners have come out on top in only 1 game of thier last 7 since the Christmas break, an that win was against the Bulldogs up in Antigonish.
Between Injuries, School, and work committments, the Miners have been having dificulties putting a full squad on the ice as of late, but with any luck this will all change this weekend and we will see a full line-up once again.
The Miners would like to remind one and all that the Miners Merchandise will once again be on sale at the door. These t-shirts, sweaters, hoodies and hats are becoming a hot commodity and are priced to sell.
We hope to see one and all come out to support YOUR local team.
