The final 2 games of the Regular Season will see the Miners play host to the Scotians on Sat Night and the Royals on Sun Afternoon. Kids 14 and under will be admitted for free thanks to Seaside Communications.

The last weekend of the regular season is quickly upon us and the Glace Bay Jr Miners are prepairing for it to be a Huge one. Any and all children ages 14 and under will be admited free of charge, with special thanks to our corporate sponsor "Seaside Communications", and what a time to do it.
On Saturday night, the Miners will play host to the Pictou Scotians, in what is a battle to the end. The Miners defeated Pictou in thier last meeting by a score of 3-1 at the Trenton Sportsplex; the win placed the Miners 3 points ahead of the Scotians for the 4th and final playoff spot in the Sid Rowe division of the NSJHL.
Sunday afternoon, the Miners will entertain the fans with a game against the league's 2010 / 2011 Regular Season Champion, the Windsor Royals. At the time of this article, the Royals have played 32 games thus far and only been defeated 6 times for a total of 52 points and allowed only 74 goals against...the best average in the league. But the Miners hope to increase this total and finish the regular season on a high note.
In the only other meeting of these 2 clubs the Miners were defeated by a score of 7-4 back in October of 2010,shortly after the Miners club had joined the league.
The Miners would like to remind you that merchandise is available at both games and with Seaside Communication as both games sponsors, adult tickets will be only 5 dollars, students will be 2 and children under 14 will get in free! This is your best chance to see the Miners at their finest in their push towards the playoffs, come out and show your support for YOUR local MINERS!!! and don't forget.....KIDS GET IN FREE!!!
