Tough Luck Continues For Miners

November 5, 2011. Saturday night, the East Hants Penguins travelled to Glace Bay for a evening tilt with the Glace Bay Junior Miners in Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League Action.
In Glace Bay the Miners lost another close one by a goal when the East Hants Penguins slipped by 5-4. Five individual Penguin scorers provided the punch for East Hants. Cody Anthony, Tyson Aalders, Marc Thibodeau, Cory Pettipas and Matt Doudelet all scored for the visitors while Brett Simmons, Colton Abraham, Ryan MacDougall and Jordan Langlois replied for Glace Bay.
The Penguins led 1-0 after one; 4-2 after two; with the Miners out scoring the visitors 2-1 in the third.
Kinnon MacMillan picked up the win for the Penguins with Scott MacDonald taking the loss for Glace Bay. With the win the Penguins improve to 8-2-1 while the Miners are struggling at 1-9-2.
Final shots were 38-32 Glace Bay.
