Junior Miners Defeat Scotians

In Glace Bay RJ Barrett, Jordan Langlois, Kieran Fogarty and Cal MacNeil all scored for the Junior Miners with MacNeil also picking up a pair of assists. Travis Mosher, Devon Cameron and Ryan Watters replied for the Scotians.
The teams were tied at one after one; tied at two after two and the Miners managed to outscore the Scotians 2-1 in the third.
Scott MacDonald picked up the win for Glace Bay while Melvin Day suffered the loss despite making 69 saves.
The win marked the Junior Miners’ third win, and second in a row, and put some breathing room between themselves and the Scotians for last spot in the Sid Rowe Division.
