Miners Keep The Scotians Winless

In Trenton the Glace Bay Junior Miners had little problems with the Pictou County Scotians as they tripped the Scotians 6-2.
Jordan Langlois led the Junior Miners with a pair with Sam Johnson, RJ Barrett, Corey Langlois and Brett Simmons all potting singles. Captain Brett McCarron chipped in with three assists.
Blaine MacInnis and Luc Lochead scored for Pictou.
The teams played a scoreless first with the Junior Miners leading 3-1 after two and then outscoring Pictou by the same score in the third.
Scott MacDonald picked up the win for Glace Bay while Alex LeFave was tagged with the loss. Glace Bay have been quietly sneaking up in the standings as they have now caught the Cumberland County Blues for third place in the Sid Rowe Division. Pictou, still winless, have suffered their 13th loss.
Final shots favoured Glace Bay at 42-32.
