Junior Miners Down Bulldogs

In a battle between both teams for 2nd place in the Sid Rowe Division the hometown Junior Miners came out on top.
At the BayPlex in Glace Bay the Junior Miners reminded the Antigonish Bulldogs just how tough they are in their own building by defeating the Dogs 4-2. Colin MacKinnon fired a natural hat trick in the second period to lead the Miners to their 14th win on the year. Alex MacDonald opened the scoring for Glace Bay halfway through the first.
Steven MacGillivray and Ricky Chisholm replied for Antigonish who still have a firm grip on second place in the Sid Rowe Division.
Scott MacDonald registered his 11th win on the year while Derrick Tait was tagged with the loss.
