Junior Miners Hammer Scotians

On Sunday, the visiting Glace Bay Junior Miners hit the road for their final tilt with the hometown Pictou Scotians.
In Trenton the Glace Bay Junior Miners picked up their 15th win of the year by defeating the Pictou County Scotians 7-3.
The Junior Miners were led by Cal MacNeil with a pair while Eugene Fraser, Brett McCarron, Ryan MacDougall, Sean Ferguson and Jordan Langlois all notched singles. Langlois and Kyran Fogarty both picked up a pair of assists.
Scoring for Pictou were Brad Daley, Brandon MacKenzie and Jake McInnis.
The Miners led 2-1 after one; 6-1 after two and added one in the third.
Justin Brewer picked his 3rd win of the season for the Miners while Alex LeFave was tagged with the loss.
Next game for the Junior Miners will be Wednesday February 15 when they host the 1st place Strait Pirates at the BayPlex for a 8:20pm start.
