Miners Defeat Pirates

In a rare Wednesday night game, we seen the 1st place Strait Pirates come to town for a make-up game that was originally scheduled for December 3rd.
At the BayPlex in Glace Bay the Glace Bay Junior Miners downed the Strait Pirates 5-2 on the strength of 2 goals by Cal MacNeil with singles going to Brett McCarron, Sam Johnson and Brett Simmons. Brandon Boudreau and Jeremy Sheppard replied for the Pirates.
The teams were tied at one after one; 3-1 Glace Bay after two and the Jr. Miners added 2 in the third.
Justin Brewer picked up his 4th win for Glace Bay while Brennan Laite suffered the loss.
