Junior Miners To Raise Money For Heart and Stroke Foundation

The Glace Bay Junior Miners are raising funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation in the month of February by selling $2.00 paper hearts.
The Glace Bay Junior Miners are raising funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation in the month of February by selling $2.00 paper hearts.
All proceeds raised will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and will be sold at every home game in February in the main lobby of the BayPlex. Anyone who wishes to donate but cannot make a home game can do so by contacting General Manager Jordan Evasuk-MacDonald by email jevasuk@telus.blackberry.net or by phone (902) 371-5561 (C) or (902) 849-5497 (H).
Every person who purchases a heart will have their name published on our website at the end of the campaign acknowledging them and their generous donation.
"We are very honoured to be able to help out a great charity like the Heart and Stroke Foundation." said Junior Miners General Manager Jordan Evasuk-MacDonald. “This is a foundation that is near and dear to my heart as myself personally have lost my mother and grandparents to this disease in the past 3 years and I'm sure every Cape Bretoner has been affected in some way or shape of form throughout their life."
Please come out and cheer your Glace Bay Junior Miners on as we begin our playoff run and help support a great cause while doing so.
