Miners Hang On To Defeat Elks

In Brookfield steady forward Jordan Langlois led the Miners to a close 3-2 win over the Elks. Langlois figured in on all 3 Miner goals picking up a pair in the first period then adding an assist in the third. Langlois' output slipped him into the top spot in the league scoring race just one point up on Valley's David Hayes and Pirates' Jarrett Martell. Langlois leads the league with eight goals.

Brad Fitzgerald had the winner for Glace Bay.

Scott MacDonald picked up the win as the Miners improve to 5-2-0-0.
