Junior Miners Host Blues Twice This Weekend

GLACE BAY - The visiting Cumberland Blues make the trip across the causeway hoping to extend their lead over the Antigonish Bulldogs for the final playoff spot in the Sid Rowe Division.
The hometown Miners look to give Cumberland the blues as they face their divisional rivals Saturday and Sunday at the BAYplex. Both games start at 7:30 pm. The Miners currently sit in first place in the Sid Rowe Division, with 40 points while the Blues are tied with Antigonish for the final spot with 19 points respectively.
The Junior Miners have won twice against the Blues this season, with both wins coming in Cumberland as the Junior Miners earned a 4-3 OT win and handed the Blues a 12-3 thumping in December despite only having 14 skaters and one goaltender. The Miners suffered a 4-3 SO loss to the Blues in early November at the BAYplex.
