Junior Miners Down Blues

At the BAYplex Saturday night, the Glace Bay Junior Miners scored three power play goals enroute to a 5-2 win over the visiting Cumberland Blues.

Jordan Langlois led the Miners attack with 4 points on 2 goals, 2 assists. For Langlois that takes his totals to 41 just 5 points behind front runner Brandon Verge of the Pictou County Scotians.
 
Chris Ross also picked up a pair of markers with Ryan Bursey rounding out the Glace Bay scoring.
 
Paul Gulliver and Ryan Ingraham answered for the Blues who were outshot 49-27.
 
The Junior Miners led 2-0 after one; 3-2 after two before adding 2 unanswered goals in the third.
 
Scott MacDonald picked up the win for the Miners while Matt Caron suffered the loss.
 
The teams return back to action on Sunday in Glace Bay.
