Miners Sweep Weekend Series With Cumberland
2013-01-27In the second game of a back-to-back home stand the Junior Miners put a damper on the Blues hopes as Cumberland looks to secure the final playoff spot in the Sid Rowe Division.
In Glace Bay Tyler Pyke and Sean Ferguson lead the Jr. Miners to their 20th win, tops in the league, with a pair of goals each. Tyler MacLeod and Jordan Langlois with his 28th goal of the year rounded out the Glace Bay scoring. Pyke also chipped in with a pair of assists while Ferguson added a single. Jordan Langlois also pitched in with 2 assists.
