Junior Miners To Support Team Kellen

The Glace Bay Junior Miners will offer their support to seven year old Kellen Surette and his family.
Kellen, who is the son of former Junior Miners and current GBHS Panthers coach Sheldon Surette and Andrea Martin was diagnosed with leukemia and will be traveling to the IWK in Halifax and Sick Kids in Toronto for treatment.
"Anything that our team can do to help out the Surrette family during these difficult times we would only be so happy to do so." said Junior Miners General Manager Jordan Evasuk-MacDonald.
T-shirts will be available for purchase in the lobby of the BAYplex during the Junior Miners playoff game #3 on Tuesday, February 26 at 7:30 pm in the main lobby and canteen area during the game.
The cost of the t-shirts are $10.00 each with all proceeds going to the Surette family.
