Rain and Misty Weather couldn't Dampen Miners Golf Tournament

The Miners Classic Golf Tournament was played on Friday 30 Sept.
The Miners Classic Golf Tournament was played on Friday 30 Sept at the Lingan Golf Club in Sydney under misty skys with a small burst of rain, but it couldnt dampen the spirits of the players who came out to help support thier home town team.
With 3 days of rain leading up to the tournament, it wasnt certain if the Miners Classic would take place. However, with the hard work and dedication of both the pro-shop and grounds staff cleaning and pumping out water, the Miners fundraiser would go ahead as planned.
A full field showed up for a round of golf, great meal, and a day of fun to support the Jr. Miners. Low score for the day was shot by the team of Khatter & Khatter, yet prizes were in abundance, as each and every team entered walked away happy.
The Jr. Miners would like to thank all the teams who came out, the organizations who donated, and of course the staff of Lingan Golf.
